My name is Emily, welcome to my blog!
I am just a girl from a middle class family in a small suburban town. I am not particularly remarkable, not uniquely skilled, not especially qualified, not always even much good. But I am desiring to be obedient to my God and Savior.
Jesus changed my life when I was 14 years old, and I have been on a journey to find and to fight for what is true, in all areas of my life, since. In my freshman english classroom, Jesus showed me that I was not enough, but that that is okay–because He is. Many years have passed since then, and many things have changed, but one thing that has not is that I am still not enough, but He always is.
Currently, I work as an insurance agent, serve in the youth group and on the worship team of my church, and try to dedicate the rest of my free time to my many interests: arts and crafts, going to the gym, keeping up with friends and family, and lately… writing a blog.
I hope that you will come along on this journey with me… lets seek what is true together, and in doing so, find the freedom it promises.
